Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but can be used for many other mental and physical health problems.

CBT aims to help you change negative ways of thinking. creating more positive feelings and overcoming unwanted behaviours. CBT has a high success rate, enabling clients to maintain their own improvement after they have completed therapy.

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. ... HYPNOTHERAPY

I am a qualified Hypnotherapist who specialises in weight Control.

Hypnotherapy is a deeply relaxed and calm state, where the client is aware of everything happening around them. It is a pleasant and enjoyable experience, very similar to daydreaming or drifting off to sleep. Clients feel wonderfully relaxed and may find that sleep will be of a much better quality after receiving hypnotherapy treatment.

Whilst in this deep state of relaxation it is possible for the hypnotherapist to make contact with the sub conscious mind. This part of the mind holds the key to emotional disturbances, and subsequent behaviour patterns.

During Hypnosis however, the sub conscious mind is more open to positive suggestions making it easier for clients to work on their issues. It’s important to note at this stage however, that the client remains in control at all times during Hypnosis and at any given time, can bring themselves out of this relaxing state.

Most importantly the subconscious is responsible for maintaining the body in good health and for all the autonomic processes, e.g., Breathing, Blood Circulation, Tissue Repair and controlling Blood Sugar levels.
